Audition for Sikkim Miss Limboo 2022 organised by Yuma Samyo Songjumbho to begin from 25th January. It will be held in virtual mode due to Covid -19 pandemic. Sikkim Miss Limboo 2022 is first of its kind of event as far as Limboo tribal community concern.
Binita Limboo, Cultural Secretary,Yuma Samyo Songjumbho shared this is first time beauty pageant for Limboo community is being organised and it is cultural beauty pageant and we have already received more than 50 entries and we are expecting more in coming days till 25th January one can apply from Yuma Samyo Songjumbho official facebook page and we have earmarked budget for crown and cash prize. Binita Limboo also thanked the government for the support being a start-up they are organising this event.
This pageant is organised in order to promote or spread awareness on tradition and culture of Limboo community and contestant should at least be able to introduce herself in Limboo language if not entire thing in limboo told Binita Limboo.
Nisha Subba, one of the Judges for pageant shared “we have opted for online mode for selection because of Covid -19 rules. Before 25th January one can send their talent videos through Whatsapp from which we will judge and after that through Google meet or any other platform we will check their confidence and other elements like their personality, how they speak etc.
